ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have activated fullback/tight end Andrew Beck from injured reserve to the active roster, the team announced Saturday.

Denver also elevated LB Josh Watson and TE Troy Fumagalli as COVID-19 Replacements and used a standard elevation on safety Alijah Holder to bring him from the practice squad to the game-day roster. The Broncos will have 54 players available for Sunday's game in Kansas City and must rule six players inactive.

Beck, who was placed on IR ahead of Week 8, appeared in the Broncos' first five games of the year before suffering a hamstring injury.

He was designated to return to practice on Nov. 18, which began his three-week practice window. The Broncos were required to activate him by Dec. 9, or he would've remained on IR for the rest of the season.

Watson has now been elevated to the game-day roster for the sixth time this season. He was elevated in Weeks 4 and 6 as a standard elevation and in Weeks 10, 11, 12 and 13 as a COVID-19 Replacement. Fumagalli and Holder have been elevated four times — twice as COVID replacements.

The Broncos are permitted to elevate two players as COVID-19 Replacements, as QB Jeff Driskel and WR Diontae Spencer remain on the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Broncos will also be without Defensive Coordinator Ed Donatell, who will not make the trip to Kansas City.
