ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb will have to wait at least another week to take the field with his newfound Pro Bowl status.
The Broncos have downgraded Chubb to out for Sunday's game against the Chargers, the team announced Saturday.
Chubb was listed as questionable on the team's final injury report, which was released Friday. The third-year player did not practice Wednesday or Thursday but he was listed as a limited participant on the team's estimated Friday practice report.
Chubb suffered an ankle injury against the Bills in Week 15 and exited the contest after playing 46 snaps.
Without Chubb, the Broncos could rely on Malik Reed, Jeremiah Attaochu, Anthony Chickillo and Derrek Tuszka.
Denver previously ruled Phillip Lindsay out, while Royce Freeman (hip), Nate Hairston (toe) and DeShawn Williams (knee) remain listed as questionable.
