ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have waived five players from their roster, the team announced Tuesday.

Wide receiver Fred Brown, defensive end Joel Heath, safety Alijah Holder, tight end Jordan Leggett and tackle Darrin Paulo were waived from the team.

Brown, Leggett and Paulo spent the season on the team's practice squad, while Holder was on the practice squad for much of the year before being promoted to the active roster late in the year. Holder appeared in eight games for the Broncos in 2020 and played a career-high 37 snaps in the team's Week 17 game against the Raiders.

Brown also appeared in one game for the Broncos this season, though he played almost exclusively on special teams. In 2019, Brown appeared in 13 games for Denver.

Joel Heath spent the year on the team's Reserve/Opt-Out list.
