THIRD QUARTER

— Colts injury update: running back Jonathan Williams (chest) is DOUBTFUL to return.

— Colts injury update: Williams (chest) has been downgraded to OUT.

— Browns quarterback David Blough, a Purdue product, tosses a four-yard touchdown to wide receiver Derrick Willies as Cleveland extends its lead to 21-7 with 9:09 left in the third quarter. It was an eight-play, 78-yard scoring drive that was aided by a 20-yard pass interference call on rookie cornerback Marvell Tell III; head coach Frank Reich tried to take advantage of a new rule and challenged the interference flag, but the call on the field stood, giving the ball to the Browns at the Indianapolis 25-yard line.

— Cole Hedlund nails a 41-yard field goal and gets rocked by Lenzy Pipkins; is a little slow to get up. Browns’ lead now 21-10 with 1:55 left in the third quarter. Penalties problematic for the Colts on that drive, who got all the way to the Cleveland goal line but were then pushed back to the 23.

— Nyheim Hines rocked on return and holds onto the ball. But he’s down on the field being tended to by trainers; able to walk off under his own power. Aca’Cedric Ware, D’Onta Foreman (who didn’t play last week) remaining RBs after Jonathan Williams knocked out with a chest injury.

— Heading into the fourth quarter, Chad Kelly takes over at quarterback for the Colts, who trail the Browns, 21-10.
