DENVER — In their first game of the season, the Broncos will be without their top receiver.

Wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who suffered a shoulder injury during Thursday's practice and was listed as questionable for Monday's game, will be inactive for the team's season opener.

On Saturday, Head Coach Vic Fangio said Sutton had made "great strides" but was "truly questionable."

The Broncos will also be without wide receiver KJ Hamler, who was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Without Sutton and Hamler, Denver's active receivers are Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, DaeSean Hamilton, Tyrie Cleveland and Diontae Spencer.

Outside linebacker Von Miller (ankle) and inside linebacker Mark Barron (hamstring) were previously ruled out for Monday's game. Miller underwent surgery Friday and is potentially out for the season.

Guard Netane Muti, tight end Albert Okwuegbunam and defensive tackle McTelvin Agim are all healthy scratches.

Denver will have 48 active players during Monday's game after elevating outside linebacker Derrek Tuszka and safety P.J. Locke from the practice squad to the active roster.

The following players are inactive for the Titans: WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, RB Darrynton Evans, OLB Vic Beasley Jr., OLB Derick Roberson, G/C Jamil Douglas, TE Geoff Swaim, DL Larrell Murchison.
