I am wondering whether there will be a real battle for the right tackle spot this season or whether Rick Wagner will automatically be given the position. If Lane Taylor comes back and Billy Turner could be two of the people who could take the job away from Wagner. What do you think?

The right tackle post is Wagner's to lose. He has the experience to step in there and start, and he's still is only 30 years old. Taylor is a great insurance policy and certainly Turner could push outside, but the scenario you outline is Plan B at best. And I don't see anyone else challenging Wagner for the starting job at right tackle in this climate.

In your article about Mercedes Lewis and tight ends, no mention was made of James Looney, who was moved from defense to TE by staff. Realistically, do you see him playing that position for the Pack?

I do. However, the focus of that specific story was geared towards Lewis and young tight ends who were on the active roster last season. There will be more on Looney in our position-by-position series later this month. If you've followed some of the stories on Looney this offseason, he's fully invested into being the best tight end he can be.

How will they make roster cuts without any evaluations if they cancel all preseason games?

Preseason games matter, but they're often just confirmation of what we've been seeing in practice. Tim Boyle, Allen Lazard and Chandon Sullivan all showed out on Nitschke Field before any of them made a play in preseason game. No preseason games would make scouts' job a little more difficult, but it's not impossible to evaluate players.

Any changes in our defensive secondary?

Tramon Williams remains a free agent and Ibraheim Campbell signed with the Tennessee Titans this offseason. Other than that, the rest of the secondary is intact.

Is there anything in the CBA that indicates how players will be paid should the season be cancelled/shortened?

Nothing set in stone but the NFL and NFLPA have previsions to negotiate in "good faith" in the event of a natural disaster. So the league and the player union would have to come to an agreement on how they proceed if the season is shortened or cancelled.

If there's no preseason, will our players stay healthier throughout the season?

It would be quite the experiment, wouldn't it? We've never seen anything like this before in the NFL so it's difficult to prophecy. It seems like this would be the healthiest the NFL has started a regular season but I'm curious to see how their bodies hold up to the stress of a full schedule without building up that early wear-and-tear? If it's not an issue, this could be an eye-opening year when it comes to training and preparation.

Who would be consider the top 10 wide receivers in Packers history?

This is probably a better question for Cliff. My 1½ cents, and in no particular order: Don Hutson, James Lofton, Billy Howton, Sterling Sharpe, Davante Adams, Jordy Nelson, Boyd Dowler, Max McGee, Antonio Freeman and Donald Driver.

How do you expect the Packers will utilize Jordan Love? It doesn't appear he is as fast or nifty as Taysom Hill so not sure using him on designed runs will work as well.

I think the Packers should use him as a rookie learning to play quarterback at the game's highest level.

I read recently that if the season were starting now, the Buffalo Bills would not be allowed to have any fans attend games due to Covid-19 guidelines in the state of New York. I suspect this is the case in other states as well. Would the NFL allow a situation where some teams where there are not restrictions can admit fans and other teams like the Bills cannot?

I thought there's no way at first, but now I'm not so certain after reading some of these initial reports. There is revenue-sharing, after all. I honestly don't know.

Will players that have their own residences near Lambeau Field be allowed to stay there during training camp now that the Packers have announced they will not be at St. Norbert College?

That's the plan.
