Lambeau Field is ready for Thursday Night Football, with the Green Bay Packers set to face the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reminding motorists that they should allow extra time traveling to Thursday’s game, as commuter traffic may cause slow travel. For more information or to plan a route to the game, visit https://511wi.gov.
The Lambeau Field parking lots will open Thursday at 3:20 p.m., with stadium gates opening at 5:20 p.m. The Lambeau Field Atrium, including 1919 Kitchen & Tap, the Packers Hall of Fame and Packers Pro Shop will be open to ticketed guests only via the American Family Insurance Gate beginning at 1:20 p.m., with exit/re-entry ticket scanning available until 3:20 p.m. The team is also reminding fans to allow plenty of time to enter the stadium, and enter through the specific gates indicated on their tickets.
Fans on Thursday can enjoy the Johnsonville Tailgate Village, the permanent tailgating and event space in Lambeau Field’s east side parking lot, which opens at 3:20 p.m. for ticketed and non-ticketed guests alike and will feature live music, food, beverages and a festive tailgating atmosphere.
Fans entering the game will receive a free wall flag, compliments of Coca-Cola, at all gate entrances.
Two featured alumni are scheduled to make appearances Thursday; Mike Wahle and Josh Bidwell will be taking part in fan activities at surprise locations around Lambeau Field and the Legends Club, respectively, leading up to kickoff. Dorsey Levens also will be appearing in the U.S. Cellular Loft to greet fans prior to the game.
During pregame, the Packers and WPS Health Solutions will recognize U.S. Army veteran Mike Klas and his family on the field. The national anthem will be performed by country artist Teddy Robb.
During halftime, the High School Quarterback Challenge, presented by HPE and Camera Corner will take place on the field. The competition will feature players from Denmark High School in Denmark, Wisconsin, and Neenah High School in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Also at halftime, Lambeau Field will host approximately 100 recruits from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines who will take an oath of enlistment. Conducting the ceremony will be Milwaukee native U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Collin Keenan.
The Packers are reminding fans of the NFL’s stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12” by 6” by 12”. Stadium cushions are also not allowed as a part of the policy, however, stadium seats and stadium pads that contain no pockets or zippers and are 18” wide or smaller are allowed. All fans entering Lambeau Field on gamedays will use walk-through metal detectors. To learn more, visit packers.com/carryin.
The team also is reminding fans to take extra care when purchasing game tickets from secondary sources. Ticket packages are also available through Vivid Seats, the official fan experience and travel partner of the Green Bay Packers.
