Cook nominated for FedEx Ground Player of the Week for 2nd straight week
Another week, another big-time performance for Dalvin Cook.
The Vikings running back has been nominated for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week after rushing for 154 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries Sunday.
You can vote for Cook here to win the award.
He was nominated after his Week 1 performance (111 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries), but did not win the award.
Cook currently leads the NFL in rushing with 265 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (111 yards and a touchdown) and Packers running back Mark Ingram (116 yards and a touchdown) are also up for the award. A trio of quarterbacks are also up for the FedEx Air Player of the Week.
FedEx will donate $2,000 to the USO on behalf of the NFL award winners through FedEx Cares. The $4,000 donation will support the USO Pathfinder program, which provides resources and personalized services to assist service members and military spouses in their transition back to civilian life. FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year winners — announced each year during Super Bowl Week at NFL Honors — will receive a $20,000 donation in their name to the USO.
