The 2019 season opener is 10 days away, and the folks at ESPN recently released 10 different Top 10 lists to celebrate the upcoming season.
A panel of ESPN’s NFL analysts released unveiled their top choices for various topics around the league, including lists of coaches, uniforms and referees.
The Vikings landed on a pair of Top 10s, including taking the top spot on Dan Graziano’s list of the best stadiums in the NFL.
Graziano wrote:
The space-age Viking-ship exterior shape is a bit weird, but wait until you get a load of the gleaming, sunny, modern perfection inside.
The Vikings will begin their fourth season at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sept. 8 against Atlanta. Minnesota is 17-7 inside the venue since it opened in 2016, including a 6-3 mark in NFC North games.
The Vikings also made Jeremy Fowler’s list for best traditions, as the NFL writer is a big fan of the Gjallarhorn.
Fowler wrote:
The massive, mythological horn sounds awesome in the Vikings' new stadium, especially when former star Vikings such as Randy Moss sound it off.
A special guest sounds the horn and leads the SKOL Chant prior in the moments before kickoff at each home game.
