ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — In the wake of the postponement of the Broncos' Week 5 game against the Patriots, the NFL has announced a reconfigured schedule for Denver.
Originally scheduled to host Miami in Week 6, the Broncos are now scheduled to travel to New England for a Sunday, Oct. 18 game against the Patriots. The Broncos' game against the Patriots will be on CBS and kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. MT.
The Broncos will now host the Dolphins in Week 11, when Denver was originally slated to host the Chargers. Denver's Week 11 game against Miami will kick off at 2:05 p.m. MT on CBS.
Denver will host the Chargers in Week 8, which was initially Denver's bye week. That game is slated for 2:05 p.m. MT on CBS, as well.
Denver is now slated to face the Patriots, Chiefs and Chargers over the next three weeks. Additionally, the Broncos are slated to play in 12 consecutive weeks, as their bye week is now Week 5.
The Broncos were not the only teams to have their scheduled impacted. As a result of the postponement of the Broncos' game against the Patriots, eight teams — including the Broncos — had at least one game change.
