His climb of 48 spots was likely due to earning first-team All-Pro honors from the Associated Press for the first time last season after consecutive second-team selections in 2016 and ’17.
Bakhtiari became the first Packers tackle to be named first-team All-Pro since Hall of Famer Forrest Gregg back in 1967. Bakhtiari’s three straight All-Pro honors also match Gregg’s, as they’re the only Packers tackles to accomplish the feat. He’s just the second Packers offensive lineman at any position since the Lombardi era to earn three consecutive All-Pro selections, joining former teammate Josh Sitton.
