Green Bay Packers players will continue the tradition of supporting the Salvation Army during the holiday season, but in a new way this year by hosting virtual BINGO events in exchange for monetary donations.
A different player will host the virtual events each Monday evening at 5 p.m. for the next five weeks.
During the event, fans will play virtual BINGO for an opportunity to earn a 15-minute Zoom Breakout Room Meet and Greet with the featured player of the week. The virtual events will kick off Monday, Nov. 16, with Jordan Love hosting the first event.
To help the Salvation Army reach its donation goals for 2020, fans attending virtual BINGO are asked to donate a minimum of $20 for access to the event.
Tickets for the first event can be purchased now at www.sagreenbay.org and will be on sale weekly from noon on Wednesdays through noon on Mondays. Those who purchase tickets will be provided with further information about how to access the event virtually.
The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign is an important holiday tradition in the Green Bay community, as many of the organization's programs operate only because of the money received through Red Kettle donations. All proceeds raised go toward aiding needy families, seniors and the homeless in Green Bay.
The names of the players participating in each event will be announced the Wednesday prior to each event. The schedule is as follows:
Nov. 16, at 5 p.m.: Jordan Love
Nov. 23, at 5 p.m.: TBA
Nov. 30, at 5 p.m.: TBA
Dec. 7, at 5 p.m.: TBA
Dec. 14, at 5 p.m.: TBA
