The Green Bay Packers signed T Yosh Nijman to the active roster from the practice squad and signed T Cody Conway to the practice squad. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Tuesday.

(first name rhymes with Josh, NY-man) Nijman, a 6-foot-7, 314-pound rookie out of Virginia Tech, originally signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent on May 3. He has spent the entire regular season on Green Bay’s practice squad. Nijman played in 45 games over four seasons at Virginia Tech. After starting 22 games at left tackle in 2016-17, he started all 10 games he played in 2018 at right tackle. Nijman helped the Hokies make it to a bowl game in all four years he played and register a winning record in three seasons. He will wear No. 73 for the Packers.

Conway is a 6-foot-6, 307-pound rookie out of Syracuse University that originally signed with the Tennessee Titans on May 10 before being waived/injured during training camp. In college, he appeared in 40 games with 33 starts at left tackle over four seasons, including 30 consecutive starts. Conway will wear No. 64 for the Packers.
