The Green Bay Packers signed TE Dax Raymond to the practice squad and released TE Nakia (na-KEY-ah) Griffin-Stewart from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Raymond (6-5, 246) is a first-year player of Utah State that originally signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2019. He spent part of his rookie season on the Bears' practice squad and was released by Chicago this past spring. Raymond spent this past training camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He appeared in 32 games (22 starts) at Utah State, catching 72 passes for 873 yards (12.1 avg.) and three touchdowns. In 2018, Raymond earned third-team All-Mountain West honors from Phil Steele's College Football and honorable mention all-conference recognition from the league's coaches. He will wear No. 80 for the Packers.
