Injury to watch
The status of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky figures to be a main topic during the week. The third-year pro suffered a hip pointer late in the first half against the Rams and was eventually removed from the game in the fourth quarter after the injury worsened.

Takeaway time
The Giants have committed 24 turnovers this season, second most in the NFL behind the Buccaneers (25). New York is minus-12 in turnover ratio, second worst in the league behind the Dolphins (minus-13). The Bears are 4-1 with a positive turnover ratio this season, 0-4 when it’s negative and 0-1 when it’s even.

Back to the future
The Bears will wear 1960s-era helmets with a white “C” and gray facemasks Sunday. The white “C” debuted in 1962 and was last worn in 1972.

Series history
The Bears lead the all-time series 33-24-2 but have lost four of the last five meetings. The Bears lost the last meeting 30-27 in overtime on Dec. 2, 2018 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Bears stormed back from a 27-17 deficit with 10 points in the final 1:13 of regulation—including Tarik Cohen's 1-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Miller as time expired—to force overtime. But Giants kicker Aldrick Rosas booted a 44-yard field goal on the first possession of the extra session, and the Bears followed by turning the ball over on downs.

Numbers game
The Bears enter Week 12 ranked 30th on offense in the NFL (29th rushing and 30th passing) and 8th on defense (8th against the run and 10th versus the pass). The Giants rank 24th on offense (23rd rushing and 18th passing) and 27th on defense (23rd against the run and 25th versus the pass).

Talk show
Bears coach Matt Nagy will address the media Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Trubisky will speak Wednesday, while offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich, defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano and special-teams coordinator Chris Tabor will conduct press conferences Thursday.
