USAA Salute to Service Moment: Captain Eli A. Armstrong

Captain Eli A. Armstrong is the Comptroller for the 33rd Fighter Wing based at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He is responsible for the 33rd Fighter Wing's annual budget and aircraft and infrastructure for the Department of Defense's premier F-35 training wing. He is a Colorado native and graduated from Colorado State University in 2011. He enlisted in May 2013 and completed Officer Training in 2016. He has received numerous awards and decorations including the Air Force Commendation Medal and has deployed twice in support of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.
