Consistent with the rest of December, the Vikings injury report for Minnesota's Week 17 game at Detroit included multiple defensive players.

Eight of the dozen players on Minnesota's injury report play defense.

Linebacker Eric Kendricks (calf), defensive ends Ifeadi Odenigbo (chest) and Jalyn Holmes (groin), cornerbacks Cameron Dantzler (hamstring) and Chris Jones (groin) and kicker Dan Bailey (back) did not practice Wednesday.

Dalvin Cook, who was excused from the team to travel to Florida and grieve the death of his father, was listed on the report as "not injury related." He will be unavailable against Detroit.

Linebackers Todd Davis (ribs) and Troy Dye (concussion/hamstring), running back Alexander Mattison (concussion) and fullback C.J. Ham (quadriceps) were limited. Defensive tackle Armon Watts (ankle) fully participated.

Prior to Wednesday's session, the Vikings placed left tackle Riley Reiff on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. It is unknown if Reiff will be able to play against the team that selected him in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
