The Vikings have released Wednesday's injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) returned to practice after missing the first game of his career last week against the Washington Redskins. Thielen was listed as a limited participant.

Defensive tackles Linval Joseph (knee) and Shamar Stephen (knee) were listed as full participants.

Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer and the coaching staff are preparing for either Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) or backup Matt Moore, who replaced Mahomes in Week 7 and started in Week 8 against Green Bay.

"It’s a challenge, obviously. I think you’ll have calls based on their offense that you feel good about. Then you’re going to have other calls based on that quarterback, other calls based on this quarterback, so you kind of put together your base plan and then you have plans for if he plays and if he doesn’t play."

Mahomes was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday.
